Semi-Wordless Wednesday: Wearing Your Convictions on Your Face

Denver Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow wears his beliefs on his face.

By the way, a lot of people criticize and even hate Tebow for doing this. WHY? If people can wear tattoos expressing anything they want to on their bodies, what's wrong with Tebow putting a Bible verse on his face? He's not threatening anyone with it, or insisting that people convert to his way of thinking. He's simply using his eye-black as a form of self-expression.

If people have a high tolerance for everyone else expressing themselves in any or every way they see fit, then they should have no problem with Tebow doing this. (Hmm...I guess I wasn't so wordless after all.)

I'm connecting today with Semi Wordless Wedneday, hosted by Flip Flops and Pearls!

Hi - I love that he does that - it gives him strength - and it gets my curiosity up and I'm sure other people's because I'm going to look those up to see what they are (sorry - I admit I don't know from memory!) - it gets others looking them up too - and who knows what can happen!

Thanks for posting!

I'm a Tebow fan and I love that he is a great role model for teenage boys ... especially homeschoolers. His family has a great testimony.

Christians are still persecuted - sadly! Let him wear a vulgar word and see if anyone cares as much!

Thanks for playing along with FF&P Semi Wordless! :)

I am so proud of Tebow for doing that! So inspiring! Makes you kind of emotional... seeing someone in the public eye stand up for Christ is so rare...

I love that Tebow is doing that, it makes my heart happy that there are still some people out there brave enough to stand for their beliefs. Also, it doesnt hurt that he's such a babe :)
