Lovely Kate Middleton, Part 2

Okay, it's true...the last time I posted about Kate Middleton, (the fiance of England's Prince William, if you didn't know), it ended up attracting tons of Google image searchers to my blog, to the point that I joked about making my blog "all Kate, all the time."

The truth is, a lot of those people probably didn't even read my blog. I'm doing another Kate post because today is Life Made Lovely day (hosted by Blessed Little Nest), and I just think the girl, and her style, are so lovely!
I don't know how I managed to make a personal fashion icon out of a woman young enough to be my daughter, but something about her style inspires me. (Believe it or not, one thing I find encouraging is that she doesn't have enormous LIPS. I yearn for big, luscious lips, but unfortunately I was NOT blessed with them. So I'm always encouraged to see a beauty who doesn't have them either!)

Of course, that's not all I like about Kate's style. It makes me yearn to dress up and wear hats. It makes me want to get a little slimmer (although I'll never be as slim as Kate.)

So, here we go....enjoy some lovely Kate style.

Love this pretty yellow peasant blouse.

So, I know a lot of fashion critics would say this outfit is too much, but I'm loving it!

Loving how she rocks hats, scarves, black tights and boots. I love opaque black tights anyway!

Gotta keep a good relationship with the future bro-in-law! GREAT suit.

How classy is this? Some pictures really show just what a lovely girl she is.

I'm participating today in Life Made Lovely...check it out!

Oh, thanks so much for your sweet comments about my blog. I, too, have so enjoyed getting to know you.

And, I'm with you on Kate! She is so classy and sassy and seemingly a real oridinary gal. Not sure how she could be, but perhaps she really is. :o) Enjoyed seeing the pics of her and I wonder how many Google hits you got with this entry. :o)

Blessings!

I remember when Prince Charles got engaged...My friends and I kept all the newpaper clippings, magazine pics, and got up in the middle of the night to watch the wedding!

Katharine, I didn't keep clippings, but I watched the wedding...it was so fairy-tale romantic. I was really sad when we all found out it the fairy-tale really wasn't true. Poor Diana.

I know that she receives a lot of flack for her weight, but I can't help but think that she's the perfect size. I love her style and she always comes off as very elegant. I wish both she and William the best. They seem well suited for each other.
