I'm probably going against the tide here, but I couldn't take Lucille Ball. All that whining and crying was too much for me. And I don't know if Jackie Gleason was on the list (didn't read that far) but I really got annoyed when he yelled, "To the moon Alice." I don't think that should be typical.
Just my humble thoughts. However, Carson and McMahon could get me to laugh, "Yes that is correct sir!"
