I'm heading out this evening from O'Hare to visit my family members that live in the Austin area! I can't wait to see all of them, especially my six-month-old grandson, Payton, who I haven't seen since he was six weeks old.
If you're a praying person and would send up a quick one for traveling mercies, I would be deeply appreciative!
God willing, I'll be back blogging around August 7th...unless I take a quick peek in on my vacation. Blessings to all!

Cindy, I prayed for travelling mercies for you. It must be so exciting to see your little grandson again. I'm sure you will bring more pictures as before. :-) Have a wonderful vacation.
Have a great vacation! I will be praying for you.
Hello,
We would like to do an interview with you about your blog for
www.BlogInterviewer.com . We'd like to give you the opportunity to
give us some insight on the "person behind the blog."
It would just take a few minutes of your time. The interview form can
be submitted online at http://bloginterviewer.com/submit-an-interview
Best regards,
Mike Thomas
Cindy, I take those travelling mercy prayers very seriously! I just realized how difficult it must be to have been away from your grandson in these early months. I hope you enjoy yourself completely. And, about the request for an interview in these comments, I cannot help but wonder how you and a couple others I know have opportunities like this simjply fall out of the sky upon you?! Showers of blessings, I guess!
I was just in O'Hare, your 'stomping grounds.'
Thank you for your strong promotion of Christian fiction. I read Sadie's Song at your recommendation, and now I'm reading Angela Hunt's books (The Novelist, and now Unspoken). Very, very good books.
Hope your family time was wonderful!
