Merry Christmas to all who visit my blog...

And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.--John 1:14

I will be taking a blogging break for the next several days to enjoy the holidays with my family, so I wanted to take this opportunity to wish all of you a very merry Christmas and a blessed New Year!
If you've never taken the opportunity to seek a real relationship with the Christ of Christmas, I pray that you will do so today.
As has been my tradition for the past few years, my Christmas card to you is this beautiful song by Chris Rice. You can hear the song here. As you read the lyrics, take just a moment to think about the real meaning of Christmas:
Welcome to Our
World

Tears are falling, hearts are breaking
How we need to hear from God
Youve been promised, we've been waiting
Welcome holy child,
Welcome holy child

Hope that you don't mind our manger
How I wish we would have known
But long awaited holy stranger
Make yourself at home
Please make yourself at home

Bring your peace into our violence
Bid our hungry souls be filled
World now breaking heavens silence
Welcome to our world
Welcome to our world

Fragile finger sent to heal us
Tender brow prepared for thorn
Tiny heart whose blood will save us
Unto us is born
Unto us is born

So wrap our injured flesh around you
Breathe our air and walk our sod
Rob our sin and make us holy
Perfect son of God
Perfect son of God
Welcome to our world
