My little grandson among the bluebonnets |
Yes, it's been a while!
I decided to come out of blogging Missing In Action-ness to post some pictures of Texas wildflowers, taken on my Easter visit to my family in the Austin area.
We actually made it toward the tail end of bluebonnet season, and many of the bluebonnet fields were being overtaken by the equally pretty orange-colored Indian paintbrush.
If you ever get a chance, go to central Texas during bluebonnet season! It's beautiful. Enjoy the pictures.

Beautiful!!
Oh my, I just might need to plan a trip to Austin next March, those fields are amazing. But not as amazing as those adorable grandsons you have. That Easter picture of them in the bluebonnet field is a keeper!
So glad to see you back, Cindy. I've missed your posts. Actually, I've been on a bit of a spring break, myself, since Easter, but will soon be back in the swing of things. What beautiful photos and such adorable grandchildren! I have always wanted to visit Texas.
Cheers, M-T
I miss seeing Blue Bonnets. They are one of my favorite flowers. I wish they would grow up here in Alaska. Maybe one day I will move back to East Texas. Until then your photos are a lovely reminder of good times.
Thank your for sharing with Thursday Favorite Things Blog Hop.

I love love love Texas! When my husband and I took a 4 month RV trip, we made the most friend's in Texas. Of course, we are chili heads and met them at chili cook offs.
Ever been to VA?
Virginia is for Lover's!
